前言 

最近興起好多新的鄉村音樂團體，

雖然聽英文老師說在美國鄉村音樂不算是主流，

可是仍然有很多人都在聽鄉村音樂，

不過根據對英文老師對西洋音樂的研究表示，

他認為鄉村音樂近年來之所以能夠蓬勃發展，

是多虧了Taylor Swift代起這一股鄉村音樂潮流!

我之前也有跟老師提過我很喜歡美國鄉村音樂，

為此我也曾經研究過一些鄉村音樂的歷史。

但我是偏重在近代的鄉村流行樂上，

現在的鄉村樂想在音樂界立足，

勢必要要融合一些現代流行樂的曲風，

在美國都市與鄉村的落差其實很大，

大部分的人都居住在都市地區，

鄉村樂也是要靠其他地區的支持才得以生存，

也很多喜歡歐美音樂的人都不是很喜歡鄉村音樂，

他們認為那種音樂太無聊了!

(根據我的老師說的)

因此到了1970年代開始在美國田納西州的那什維爾，

鄉村流行樂開始興起，

至今仍有的美國鄉村音樂頒獎典禮就是在此舉辦。

近來鄉村流行樂開始在美國告示牌榜中占有一席之地，

這可謂是鄉村流行樂成功的典範!

其中現在比較知名的代表人物有

Taylor Swift (國民小公主)

Carrie Underwood (American Idol第四季冠軍)

Billy Ray Cyrus(小天后Miley Cyrus的父親)

*Keith Urban (澳洲女星Nicole Kidman的先生，同為澳洲人)

以上略舉為個人推薦的歌手或大家比較熟知的

(*非美國本地歌手，#團體型樂團)

接下來回到正題來介紹這次推薦的鄉村音樂團體 

Gloriana

由左至右分別為Cheyenne Kimball 、 Mike Gossin  、 Rachel Reinert 、 Tom Gossin

這個樂團從2008年起成立，目前Cheyenne Kimball已經退出Gloriana(於2011年7月)獨立出專輯

Mike和Tom則是兄弟黨(現在鄉村音樂團體都偏向好朋友和兄弟姊妹的組合)

團體雖然是在鄉村音樂重鎮田納西州納什維爾成立

但所有成員都是來自東岸城市成長(除了Cheyenne Kimball 在南部德州成長)

其實我很喜歡他們同名專輯的封面照片

整個就很有鄉村風格(稻草、陽光)

而且又剛好哪時是兩俊男加兩位美女的組合

每個人都穿著牛仔褲

看到他們發行第一張同名專輯的心路歷程其實跟一般的新歌手一樣

機會就是掌握在自己的手上

他們自己錄製demos然後寄給許多音樂的製作人之後被發掘

2009年初發行團體的第一張單曲"Wild at Heart"，為當年銷售量最高的鄉村單曲(對剛出道的團體而言)

接著他們就參與了Taylor的"Fearless Tour"(2009年)當演出嘉賓

2009年5月發行收錄4首歌曲的EP"The Way It Goes"(收錄"Wild at Heart"、"The Way It Goes"、"You Said"  、"Time to Let Me Go" 這4首歌曲)

2009年8月4日發行他們的出道之作同名專輯，該專輯登上當年"Top Country Albums"(年度最佳鄉村專輯)第二名、"Billboard 200"(告示牌前200名專輯)第三名

2009年9月28日發行該專輯第二張單曲"How Far Do You Wanna Go?"

同時贏得當年(2009)美國音樂大獎(AMA)"Breakthrough Artist of the Year"獎項

2010年2月8日發行第三張單曲"The World Is Ours Tonight"

2010年3月16日贏得當年度美國鄉村音樂學院獎"Top New Vocal Group award"獎項

2012年8月18日"Wild at Heart"單曲獲得RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America，美國唱片業協會)的黃金認證

順帶一提他們是所屬華納兄弟音樂唱片公司

算是另一個唱片大宗公司之一

根據我這幾年買專輯唱片的經驗

個人覺得華納發行的專輯都很精緻

再來是金牌大風內容豐富價格合理

我最不滿意的是我最常買的環球唱片

算最貴而且感覺沒有花心思在專輯上

索尼的唱片我還沒買過

但我相信應該是跟華納和金牌大風差不多的...

最讓我驚訝的是他們在2009年時參與Taylor Swift的"Fearless" tour!!

一起合唱了Taylor的歌曲"I'm Only Me When I'm With You"

(還有Taylor的好友，同樣是鄉村歌手的Kellie Pickler)

不過那時比較沒有注意Taylor巡迴演唱會的特別嘉賓

Speak Now時的嘉賓我認識的比較多...

自2011年Cheyenne Kimball在推特上宣布退出後，

剩下的三位團員們也同時繼續計畫最新的專輯"A Thousand Miles Left Behind"。

2011年初發佈他們的新專單曲"Wanna Take You Home"

2011年3月28日發行該專輯的第一張單曲"Wanna Take You Home"(此時Cheyenne Kimball仍有參與)

2011年7月11日Gloriana宣布成員Cheyenne Kimball退出單飛

2011年7月13日"Wanna Take You Home"音樂錄影帶播出，MV中仍有舊團員Cheyenne Kimball

2011年10月4日發行該專輯的第二張單曲"(Kissed You) Good Night"

2012年1月13日"(Kissed You) Good Night"音樂錄影帶播出

2012年7月31日新專輯"A Thousand Miles Left Behind"發行!

我剛好就在"A Thousand Miles Left Behind"發行前認識他們，

那時我正在英文營隊裡每天上課，

星期一傍晚的小組活動時間就是聽告示牌每週前50名的音樂，

那時我就聽到"(Kissed You) Good Night"這首歌，

直覺判對這首歌肯定是鄉村音樂，

之後晚上待在宿舍裡都在聽他們的歌...然後就變成粉絲了!!

接下來是歌曲分享時間

不過實在太多好聽的我就從同名專輯和最新專輯中挑出三首
